ITVC Athlete Qualities
We are excited to see all of you at tryouts! Below are some of the qualities we are looking for in our athletes that make up the Island Thunder Volleyball Club.
coachable
We are looking for someone who is open minded to feedback and instruction. Someone who will implement the instruction given right away. Even though it may feel weird or isn’t something she has done before she is still willing to try it and make a change.
Dedicated & hard working
Someone who gives 110% on and off the court. Always eager to learn and make herself and her teammates better. She is someone who is committed to her team and showing up to practices and tournaments on time and giving her best that day. A mindful athlete who has a purpose with everything she does.
attitude
Someone who can support their team on and off the court and has a selfless mind set. She plays for her team and not herself. She is someone who is a well rounded human being, kind, courteous, respectful and represents Island Thunder Volleyball with pride.

The tryout fee is $30.
registration fees are non-refundable starting July 26th.

16’s: @ Hidden Valley Boys & Girls Club - 10:30am - 1:30pm
saturday july 27th
15’s: @ hidden valley boys & girls club - 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Sunday july 28th
18’s: @ hidden valley boys & girls club - 10:30am - 1:30pm
sunday july 28th
17’s: @ hidden valley boys & girls club - 4:00pm - 7:00pm

To attend a tryout you will need to have a valid membership (which we will scan your qr code to verify) as well as the below 2 forms.

IF YOU HAVE A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP, THIS WILL WORK FOR THE 2023-24 SUMMER TRYOUTS IN JULY.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MEMBERSHIP WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF AUGUST..IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP, you will need to purchase a tryout membership that will be available on july 1, 2023.
